Diversified Nano Corporation (DNC) is a privately held Delaware corporation with headquarters in San Diego, CA.
The company was founded in 2005 by a group of scientists and a management team with over a decade of extensive experience in material science and process engineering technology. The team specializes in developing special materials and mass production technology for nano-particles, which are in demand for scientific use, surface coating applications, medical treatment and application specific inks. DNC’s primary focus and driving force are Invisible Security Ink, Premium Pigmented Ink and MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) Inks.
MICR inks are in wide use today at home and at the office, especially for desktop printing. Almost every currently available inkjet printer, All-In-One and fax machines can be equipped with MICR ink cartridges to print bank compliant checks, long lasting documents for archival, security applications and premium quality photos.
DNC inks are marketed under various brand names through printer equipment and cartridge manufacturing partners, publishers under co-brand and distributors.
DNC’s x-nano™ MICR Black inks in particular are available in “ready-to-go” ink cartridges sold under the “VersaInk” brand name. Service Bureaus, Print Shops and Corporate Users utilize DNC MICR ink for industrial ticket/tag/label and high-speed commercial inkjet printers to print transactional
documents and custom checks for highly effective promotional and general accounts payable purposes. The inks are suitable for thermal and piezo based dot-on-demand print head technology and support print speeds of over 450 feet per minute.
DNC Elite Black Pigmented Ink is based on a new family of xNano-particles, formulated with special ingredients, to achieve an unprecedented black coverage and ultra-smooth appearance on various substrates. Like the MICR ink Black series, “Elite Black” is available for desktop, industrial and commercial print applications utilizing thermal and piezo print heads available from a variety of manufacturers.
DNC invisible inks also support many uses in the security industry. This ink can be printed on media without interfering with other content printed on the same documents using regular visible ink. This helps reduce the need for additional print material, labels, tags, run-time, etc. and enables authentication of objects and items using UV light. Invisible (fluorescent) ink offers endless creative application use for home and work such as those associated with entertainment in sports (tickets), restaurants (menu) and other public places. DNC UV fluorescent inks are suitable for all major inkjet printer models and jetting technologies.
